Family Philanthropic Planning

Beyond the check.

Most giving records count one thing, the money. This sheet counts all of it: your time, your talent, your treasure, your ties, your testimony, and your truth.

Fill in the front for last year, honestly. Then set next year on purpose. Short answers are fine, and blank is a real answer: if a row sat empty last year, leave it empty and let that say what it says.

Your answers stay private until your facilitator shares them in your session.

Before you begin

Here's how this works

One sheet, two sides, about 15 minutes. Nothing on it is required. Fill in what is true and leave the rest blank.

Welcome back. Your saved sheet is loaded with the answers you left last time. Change anything you like, then submit again. Only the latest version is kept.
1
Last year, honestly. Six short blocks, one for each T: Time, Talent, Treasure, Ties, Testimony, Truth. Write what actually happened, not the polished version.
2
Next year, on purpose. One intention per T, one first step, and the month it starts. Leave a row blank if you are not ready to set one.
3
The honest part. Pick the T you lean on too hard, and the one you have been ignoring. Then name one thing that changes because of that.
Doing this with family? Fill in your sheets separately first, then compare. Where your strongest Ts differ is where your family's giving gets its range.

Part 1 of 3

Last year, honestly

Six blocks, one per T. Write what actually happened. A block left blank stays blank in your plan draft too, and sometimes that is the most useful line on the sheet.

Signed in as

The year you are looking back on. It is filled in with last year; change it if your giving runs on a different year.

Part 2 of 3

Next year, on purpose

One intention per row. One first step. One month when it starts. The month matters: it gives your facilitator a reason to check in when that month arrives.

Part 3 of 3

The honest part

Most givers lean on one or two Ts and skip the rest. Naming that pattern is what turns this sheet into a plan.

The T I lean on too hard
The T I have been ignoring

Doing this with family? Fill in your sheets separately first. Then compare. Where your strongest Ts differ is where your family's giving gets its range.

This worksheet is a first draft of a giving plan. Bring it to your Master Giving Strategy session and we will build the plan from it.

How this works

Side one looks back. Six blocks, one for each T: Time, Talent, Treasure, Ties, Testimony, Truth. Write what actually happened last year, in short answers.

Side two looks forward. For each T, set one intention, one first step, and the month it starts.

Nothing is required. If a block sat empty last year, leave it blank. A blank block stays blank in your plan draft, and it still tells your facilitator something useful.

You can come back with the same family code and first name and change your answers. Only your latest version is kept.
